About us
The GEM System has been operating on the market since 2004 and offers comprehensive system and integration solutions. We mainly specialize in areas of development of large-scale custom-made IT solutions, B2B communication systems, Identity Management, data warehouses and Business Intelligence.
- We are one the few Czech companies with experience in implementing solutions based on platforms, such as Oracle BI, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Microsoft, Adobe or Red Hat Fuse. Furthermore, we are perfectly familiar with the products of other major IT vendors, such as Red Hat, Microsoft, IBM and Amazon.
- We have teams of experienced professionals working on key area projects, including business analysts, solution architects, project managers and developers. Our experience covers delivery in the form of classic (PRINCE 2, ITIL, TOGAF etc.) or agilely oriented procedures of project management (Scrum, DevOps, SAFe) and the customer support. The customer can fully rely on our devotion to the project from the beginning to the very end, as we are driven by our long-term experience and thoroughly built know-how.

- During the years of our existence, we have convinced multiple clients of the qualities of the GEM System solution. For example, we realized in the complete optimization of the system infrastructure of one of the largest domestic insurance companies in the areas of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouses, Identity Management, B2B and ERP. GEM System realized in the delivery of a new eCommerce system for Česká Spořitelna, or realized in the development of a BI solution for the DOOSAN Škoda Power Controlling Department. In our custom-tailored projects, we are particularly focused in automotive industry, concentrating on the creation of robust international web portals in the areas of marketing and connectivity. These projects are developed directly on MS Azure or Amazon Web Services cloud technologies and are deployed to cloud centres around the world. Thanks to a combination of agile development methods and cloud technologies, we achieve high reliability (we promote the so called self-healing architecture), availability and responsiveness for end users of the projects.
- GEM System systematically builds competence centres which are responsible for the development in the respective business area or key technology. Specialists for individual projects and contracts are then selected from these competence centres. We develop the expertise of our company and employees, thanks to realisation of challanging projects.

As one of the few IT companies in the Czech Republic, we have experience in implementing solutions based on various platforms: Microsoft – Microsof .NET Framework, Microsoft Azure DevOps Server, Microsoft PowerBI and Microsoft SQL Server; Oracle – Oracle SOASuite, Oracle Database, Oracle BI, Oracle BAM and Oracle Identity Management; Red Hat – Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Fuse, Red Hat JBoss or Red Hat 3scale API Management.
