GEM System reference for the middleware area of Red Hat and open source technologies for Raiffeisenbank

Migration of the solutions and systems of the financial institution Raiffeisenbank for the provision of short-term loans so that it is possible to completely abandon the infrastructure of Equa bank and thereby significantly improve the efficiency of the parallel operation of data centers, related licenses and services and others.

Raiffeisenbank in the Czech Republic (RBCZ) acquired the former Equa bank in the first half of 2021. In the fall of 2022, RBCZ completed the integration of clients and their services into its systems. With a single exception, namely the system for providing short-term loans, which was only connected to the central RBCZ systems, but continued to function on the infrastructure of Equa Bank.

RBCZ was looking for a reliable IT partner who was able to migrate the entire solution for the provision of short-term loans to RBCZ systems so that it was possible to completely leave the infrastructure of Equa Bank and thus save tens of millions of crowns per year on the parallel operation of data centers, related licenses and services, and more. Within 7 weeks, GEM System prepared the analysis and project plan, which confirmed to RBCZ that the project could be completed within the required deadline of 9 months.
