Press release: The Location Based Offers project for ŠKODA AUTO was successfully deployed in the production environment of the car manufacturer in the real environment of the user of a ŠKODA brand car

ŠKODA AUTO managed to expand its portfolio of services in the field of connectivity by deploying Location Based Offers / LBO solutions in the production environment. On behalf of the GEM System company, we are pleased that we could participate in the delivered innovative solution.

The Location Based Offers / LBO solution tracks the location of the vehicle and its route at specified times. On the basis of relevant information, in practice it conveys to vehicle passengers a personalized offer from ŠKODA AUTO,
as well as from third-party providers, e.g. gas stations or services for motorists. At the same time, offers can be entered into the system along with specifying in which geographical locations or for which types of cars the given offers are intended. The LBO system provides data for an analytics platform that matches the collected vehicle location data with appropriate offers for delivery to car users. The LBO system sends a suitable offer to a specific vehicle. Via the vehicle's infotainment, information is returned to the LBO system about whether the user has used the offer or not.
